Westbury Homeowners Association is a resident-owned manufactured home community in Colchester, Vermont. Westbury is conveniently located just 20 minutes from downtown Burlington and beautiful Lake Champlain. Our ideal setting is between Routes 2, 7 and 15, as well as Vermont I-89, and we enjoy easy access to the surrounding areas. We are a friendly neighborhood for people who love living close to the beauty of a large lake and close proximity to countless outdoor activities year round.
We take pride in our wooded lots that offer rural living while preserving all that city life offers within moments. Whether you prefer skiing, hiking, kayaking, walking in the woods, shopping, or dining – we have endless possibilities nearby. We are less than an hour from many nationally recognized ski resorts, including Stowe Mountain Resort and Smugglers’ Notch.
Plattsburgh, N.Y. is a 45-minute drive and we can arrive in Montreal in less than an hour and a half.
Westbury is owned by the Community Members who live here – we are a resident-owned community (ROC).

We own it
The Member homeowners of Westbury Homeowners Association control the rent and make the rules. On March 6, 2019, the ROC purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected Board of Directors manages the business of running Westbury. Every Member household in the community has a say in who sits on the Board, how we spend our money, the annual budget, and whether we make changes to the rent.
We’re also part of a national network of about 250 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training, communication with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do, and more. Life in Westbury Homeowners Association is truly different than in a commercially owned community – we invite you to find out firsthand how that difference makes living here so much better.
